ABOUT US

Hello, my name is Nérine Paolini- Del’ Cognito founder of SoundMindInHealthyBody. I am passionate about languages. I speak (French, Italian, English, and Russian), and I was born in a multilingual family thus my love for learning, travel, food, and cultures started at birth. I trained as a teacher and Interpreter. It was during this training that I  was introduced to the brain and in particular memory which I found most fascinating. On the other side of the coin, home life wasn't easy and any kind of movement was helping I added contemplative practices this made a real difference. Fast forward after giving birth to my son over twenty years ago, I took up Pilates to help rebuild my core stability, strength, and flexibility. I obtained very good results and loved the method so much that I trained as a Body Control Pilates teacher to help others like me. As life went on and went through stressful situations I felt a lot of tension in my Back, neck, and so on... I used specific exercises to manage my back and prevent any further episodes. I added relaxation techniques and mindfulness meditation practice. The results were astonishing. I became very aware of the present learning experience, without judgment. Stepping back made me curious and enabled me to iron out bad habits that were causing the discomfort 

Biological stress (cortisol) reduced

 the way I responded to situations changed. I also learned how to be kinder and more compassionate towards myself.

Mind and body were more connected, thus able to tap more into my intuition.

The benefits have lasted. Therefore when I create a course or design a specific program all these elements are taken into consideration. Special thanks to everyone involved in this journey.
